Scotland is a country of national beauty and splendour. It is not hard to see why people flock to it in the holiday season, all wanting to experience the great outdoors. Castles:

Two of the most famous castles in Scotland are Edinburgh and Stirling. The former dates back to the 12th century and has different halls and chambers that were added over subsequent centuries. The National War Museum and the Scottish crown jewels are housed there. The latter received the nobility and gentlefolk of the 16th Century and quickly turned into a centre for the arts and entertainment. Another of Scotland’s famous castles is Eilean Donan in Dornie, which is only 8 miles from the Isle of Skye.  The castle has been rebuilt many times over the centuries and it played an important part in many famous feuds!

Fishing:

Scotland is the ideal place for a fishing trip thanks to the many lochs, rivers and beautiful countryside.
